From the Series “Probable, Plausible, Fallible”
house paint, oil marker, gesso on wood
“These are new works that involve a laborious process of creating a painting, destroying the painting, and reassembling the painting on a box like structure. There are 12 paintings in this series. Each painting is improvised. After I reach some level of satisfaction with the original painting, I cut it up into smaller pieces and reassemble it randomly.  This series is based on an invented strategy driven by the following ideas:

labor, accessible materials, improvisation, imperfection, destruction, and the painting as an object.
