boundaries

Boundaries I & II
MP, 2013

I have been working with deconstructing words again. In these pieces, not only do the letters contained in the final word exist in the original, but they also slowly disappear from the original, but the words atop one another find themselves conceptually related that provides a reflection from start to finish while reading the piece.

This practice actually came from an extension of my own writing practice, which has begun to play a larger role in my studio practice.
